The USW Education and Membership Development Department, along with the Tony Mazzocchi Center, are presenting a discussion at 7 p.m. on Thursday, May 13, on the disproportionate impact of COVID-19 on black and brown people, including workplace exposures, often limited access to health care and vaccine apprehension based on historic and current inequities, features Linda Rae Murray, MD MPH.
Dr. Murray is a champion of social justice and has been an outspoken advocate for the medically under-served for more than 40 years. She is a celebrated physician of internal medicine, professor of medicine at the University of Illinois Chicago and medical administrator from Cook County, Ill.
