The Executive Board of USW Local 3657 extends its sincere condolences to the family, friends and colleagues of former USW District 10 Director John DeFazio, who passed away on Friday, Feb. 26, 2021, at the age of 80.

Director DeFazio was a friend and co-worker to many members of Local 3657 over the years, and also served for 12 years as director of our home district in Pennsylvania, District 10. He, like many members of our local union, called Western Pennsylvania home, and his dedication to his community and to the members of the USW was second to none.

Director DeFazio spent his life fighting for justice and fairness on behalf of working people. We owe him and his family a debt of gratitude for that work, and for inspiring us all to continue in that fight. Rest in power, Brother DeFazio.
